When I first started the program, my goal was focused on weight loss. Since working with Ryan, not only have I made considerable progress toward my weight goal (I have lost 50 lbs), but as importantly have come to understand some of the causes of my weight gain. I now understand the relationship between calories, nutrition and portions and the impact that food choices have on overall health - I am still learning more every day. The behavior element of the program helped me to understand the habitual patterns that I have developed over the years that no longer meet my personal or lifestyle needs. Medically, Ryan helped to decrease some of my medication doses, which has helped me sleep better and have better moods. Losing weight was my primary goal, but what I achieved and got from working with Ryan, is how to establish and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that I could feel better and have my life back.
