Low Back Pain and Spinal Disorders

Current research supports that exercise is one of the few effective therapies for achieving long-term results for spinal disorders. However, it is not meant to be a one-size-fits-all solution. A health history is done to rule out other contributing factors, and a bio mechanical screening is done to ensure proper movement before undergoing any exercise program to treat back pains.

Having had two back operations, Dr. Oughtred understands the debilitating nature of back problems. In 2004, he developed an exercise program called “Walking Back To Health” for individuals with different types of lower back problems. Since then, he has broadened his scope to offer an even more effective approach to back problems that includes hands on therapies like manipulations or tissue release techniques, acupuncture, various injection techniques, and other modalities.
